	Hello: My name is Timothy D. Thomas and I am a Senior Graphic Designer or Visual Information Specialist, SR with over 25 years of experience. I am a United States citizen and Honorably Discharged Navy Veteran currently residing in Panama City, Florida with my wife Terri and 16 year-old son Tanis. My wife and I home school our son and do not own our home, so we can relocate quickly and easily. I am a highly creative and multitalented SR Graphic Designer with experience in military graphic support, government contract proposals, tradeshow displays, web design, print media and multimedia production. I possess exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills and I am a dynamic team player with well-developed written and verbal communication abilities. I am highly skilled in client and vendor relations and talented at building and maintaining partner relationships. I enjoy planning creative and innovative marketing strategies and campaigns, and I am accustomed to performing in deadline-driven environments with an emphasis on working within budget requirements. I am currently self-employed as a SR Graphic Designer, producing mechanical/technical illustrations, web designs, logos, large format displays, PowerPoint presentations, displays and fine artwork for various clients. I am responsible for the budget and finances for the department. Prior to this position, I was the Art Director for a military contractor that was tasked to support the Air Force Research Laboratory and its sectors; Robotics, Chem-Bio, Energy, Fire Research and Airfield Pavements. I supervised a team of 15 graphic artists that provided graphic support to each sector. I often assisted the contract proposal agent, marketing director and public relations director to create highly persuasive sales marketing presentations, trade show displays and proposal packages. One such innovation was the Touch Screen Kiosk Display. The kiosk was a mobile unit that displayed on a 50 in touch screen, each sectors ongoing research and developments. It and the supporting static pop-up displays were used to present concept ideas, working products and innovative systems to various funding agencies. This 'Showcase Kiosk' was used by the various sectors within the Air Force Research Laboratory at Tyndall AFB, FL on site or at government trade shows. Some trade shows included the Fire Research Convention in Missouri and AUVSI in Florida. Under my leadership, the team submitted to, and won, Best in Show in the *2003 Kiosk Excellence Awards - Best Government Kiosk Application. Various funding and multiple contracts were awarded due to the success of the 'Showcase Kiosk'. I also provided graphic support to AFCESA* - Air Force Civil Engineering Support Group at Tyndall AFB, Panama City, FL, developing graphics, animations, video and photography for interactive training CD/DVD's, posters, brochures and promotional products.
